Compressors

Receiver Dryer / Accumulator

This provides a similar roll to the air / oil filter on your car. It removes unwanted particles from the system, in this case moisture, from reaching components that will fail if they get damp, mainly the compressor, the most expensive air conditioning part on your system! The receiver dryer should be changed every 2 years or whenever the system is degassed or serviced.

Evaporator

This works the opposite to your car heater! It is also located under the dash board and the cool air is provided by a fan that blows through this unit which is carrying the now "very cold" refrigerant which keeps you nice and cool. Easy!!!!
